Day of the Dead Girl

I really enjoyed this day of the dead girl. My lovely client Jon has real conviction when it comes to getting tattooed. He travels from Rotherham almost weekly to get his sleeve worked on; full day sessions, no compromise! Really love tattooing clients who are willing to sit for such long periods - it really helps us both get in 'the zone'. However I'm guessing I had a little more fun tattooing it than he did in getting tattooed!

The photograph is aftr the first session. The video shows the real difference between the redness of a fresh tattoo and and softness of a healed one. At that point I had done a small second-pass on some areas of the face, and started on the roses.
